Before we sail

Let’s go!

Everything you and your crew need before stepping aboard Our Passion. Booked with a group? Forward this one link — it covers everyone.

1. Sign the waiver

Every guest signs before boarding — it takes about two minutes on your phone. If you’re the one who booked, send this page to your whole crew so everyone can sign ahead of time.

2. Follow along

Follow us on Instagram before you board so you can tag us from the water — we love reposting our guests’ photos. Your sail makes for a great feed day.

3. Good to know

The questions nearly every crew asks, answered here — the full FAQ has the rest.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your safety and comfort come first. If conditions make sailing unsafe, the Captain makes the call and you receive a full refund — or we’ll reschedule if you prefer. New England weather changes quickly, so a grey morning doesn’t necessarily mean a cancelled afternoon.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes — guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. A refrigerator and freezer are provided for your use, along with bottled water. One ask: no red wine or deeply pigmented foods and drinks (red juices, dark sodas, hot sauce, berries) — they can permanently stain the boat’s gelcoat.

What should we pack?

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, non-marking shoes, and a light jacket or sweater — it’s cooler on the water than on shore. Planning to swim? See the full packing list below.

What if we need to cancel?

Cancel 14 or more days before your date for a full refund. Inside 14 days, 50% of the charter fee is forfeited — for most bookings, that’s simply the deposit already on file. And if the Captains cancel for weather, you’re always refunded in full.
